How to limit thumbnail display to just a few

I've been reading this forum and every tip I can find but am drawing a blank. I have the thumbnails on the page and they open the large version just fine but the problem is ALL of the thumbnails (40 or 50 of them) are displaying whereas I would like only 6 or 7 to show in a scrollable (sideways) window.

Could someone please point me in the right direction for instructions on how to do this? I know it's possible; just can't figure out how. Thanks so much!

Perhaps you have the floatbox class on the body element or some containing div so Floatbox is picking up all the images on the page???

If so, and you want only some of the image links to display in floatbox, put the floatbox class only on the ones that you want. Group the links into a gallery set by assigning a common 'group' setting to them.

As for a sideways scrollable window, I'm sorry but I don't know what you have in mind here.
